Is a woman in nafaas allowed to go outside her home with or without a reason? And what is the shariah hukm about this matter?

The blood which comes out after the delivery of a child is called Nifaas (postpartum period). The maximum limit for Nifaas is forty days. Shariah does not prohibit women to leave their homes during Nifaas.However, due to the weakness or illness a woman generally experiences after child birth, it is medically advised for a woman to rest during this period of time.
